Young Island resort comes heavily recommended by everyone who has stayed there because this is a resort where you will get top class service, fantastic food, a very good wine selection, and last but not least peace, quiet, and tranquility. Be warned this won’t be a Caribbean Honeymoon full of the nightly Jump Up, or even television in your room. Let me put a disclaimer right here, that this is MY list of must see and do activities for having a holiday in Cambodia. Of course each person would have their own list, and if you wholly disagree, then we can get into exciting endless debates of which of us has the better list.

A holiday in Cambodia of course would include a visit to the Angkor Wat temple. That’s why it’s not on my list, because it’s a given. Consider yourself never having been to Cambodia if you didn’t visit this temple (Mom, I’m talking about you here). Why, it’s the reason why people visit the country in the first place. Well okay, for most people.

So once the whole business of temple visiting is done, there are so many other things to do out there. And from all of those, these are my top ones. (more…)
